 Overseer Ardean Richardson
   Senior Pastor & Chief Apostle

Our Pastor

Apostle Richardson is the seventh child of twelve children born to the Late Bishop Lonnie Gorham and Lottie (Fields) Gorham.  She was saved at the tender age of 8, and filled with the Holy Ghost at the age of 21.

In 1962 Ardean united in marriage with the late Mr. Ernest Richardson, Jr. from South Carolina.  Of this wonderful union came five lovely children, Darren, Ladelia, Gregory, Deserie and Lenny.  Apostle Richardson is also the proud grandparents of seven grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, one great-grandchild and host of god-children.

In 1973 Pastor Richardson accepted the call to the ministry and shortly thereafter she was appointed Pastor of the Mount Olive UFW Baptist Church of Bridgeport, CT; preceded by her father, Bishop Lonnie Gorham who was the founder and later elevated to a church in New Haven, CT.  She was ordained and installed Pastor by the late Bishop Jonathan Powell under the authority of the Unified Freewill Baptist organization in 1974.  In June of 1983 she founded the Holy Ghost Deliverance church Incorporated and operates as the Presiding Prelate of the faith.  On November 10, 2001, Apostle David Dupree of the Solid Rock Churches Inc of Boston MA consecrated Overseer Richardson to the Apostleship.

She has been instrumental in opening and establishing ministries in Connecticut, Florida, North Carolina and Massachusetts. She currently has a weekly radio ministry, “A Call Back to Righteousness”.  She travels extensively ministering the Gospel of truth.

Many obstacles have come her way, and many in the house have opposed her stand on Righteousness but she stands fast and undeterred like a Tree Planted by the Rivers of water.  Surely, the God of the Hebrews have remembered this Servant and her reward is great!

Favorite Scripture: Numbers 23:19 “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?”

Motto:  My name is Hope.
